The Legal Stuff -Know your Rights

Please take a moment to read the 1988 U.K.Copyright Act, as this may apply to you.​

Personal Images, ie: Portraits (Family or lone non-professional images, especially those where any of the main subjects are children) will not be added to my public portfolio without express permission from the subject, and will not be sold onto third parties.

​Bands, Artists and Professionals are asked to apply at the time of shooting for a temporary shared license if they wish to print any images and distribute them in any way.

Types of License:

Digital License:

A digtal license is granted to all clients. This allows you to use images in the digital environment. ie: Internet, social network sites and websites, although I do ask that a credit be made to MJC Photography when you do.

Mutual Rights License:

A Mutual Rights License can be applied for giving the client the right to reproduce and sell images.

Please make sure you fully understand the copyright act before applying
